Anangokaa Arsareth - The Witness of the house of Joseph of Israel: Mormon and The Record That Remembers Us

Anangokaa Arsareth: The Record That Remembers Us
The greatest battle is not around us. It is in remembering.
Anangokaa Arsareth — The Star People of the Lost Tribes in the Americas — is not offered as a new discovery. It is the reaffirmation of an old memory. Compiled by Maamin (Mormon), a record keeper of the Midewiwin in the 4th century, it carries forward what the copper plates and the keepers had already preserved: that Israel came to this land, that Jesus came to this land and found them, and that the truth of His ministry remains here still.
Civilizations fall when they forget who they are, where they came from, and their relationship with the One Creator. The records of Maamin show the pattern again and again: prosperity, then forgetfulness, then division, then the emptying of the land. Yet the Keepers remained hidden. The Record was preserved. The Seekers were prepared. And in the appointed time the Truth is revealed so that the People may return.

This record belongs to the Anangokaa — the Star People of Arsareth — and to their descendants who already know who they are. It does not grant identity; it confirms what was already known in memory, language, ceremony, and the quiet care of the record keepers. Lehi, a senior Chief Elder of the Tribe of Joseph, left Jerusalem. Mulek of the House of Judah and the sisters who preserved the line joined the Deer Clan, the keepers of the trade routes and the covenant. North and south reflected one another, connected by the waters. The same sacred names — Zarahemla, Bountiful, Nephi — could mark places that fulfilled the same purposes in different regions. Those who traveled the waterways became the people of the flowing righteousness, the Nephites.
The Song of Maamin, preserved in the glyphs of the Great Teaching Lodge, tells it simply:
From the Great Mystery came Spirit.
From Spirit came Breath.
From Breath came Voice.
From Voice came Teaching, Memory, and Wisdom.
Maamin gathered the scattered things and preserved them. Division entered. The Ways hardened. The Great Clash came. The land emptied. The Keepers remained hidden. The Record was preserved. The Seekers were prepared. The Truth was revealed. The People returned. Unity was restored. Balance was renewed. Memory, Wisdom, and Teaching were remembered. And Fullness returned once more.
This is the work of a Branch: not to govern families, but to strengthen them. The family remains the first institution established by the Creator. A Branch gathers when families come together for prayer, sacrament, teaching, service, and remembrance. Authority grows through stewardship — child to elder to chief elder — never through coercion. The Tree strengthens the Branch; the Branch strengthens the Family; the Family strengthens the Child.
*Anangokaa Arsareth* stands as a witness that the plain and precious things can still be heard. The languages were never entirely lost among the record-keeping traditions. The copper records from the 5th, 6th, 12th, and 16th centuries attest to the same memory. What was sealed up has come forth in due time so that the descendants of those whose histories are preserved within it may hear their ancestors again.
We do not ask anyone to accept this as the story of every nation. Many migrations occurred; many traditions interwove. This record belongs to those who know they are Israel and know this witness to be true. It is not presented to validate any Western institution or claim of authority over modern descendants. It stands as a testimony of covenants remembered and promises carried forward through the generations.
In a time of division and uncertainty, the ancient records of Maamin offer a timely message: return to the Source. Empty the vessel to receive. Form Branches of families who remember together. Practice the Good Heart. Walk in what was already given. Let the invisible lines give way to the broken heart that becomes a witness of healing.
The Seekers were prepared.
The Truth is revealed.
The People return.
Fullness returns once more.
This is the invitation of Anangokaa Arsareth.
