The Lamb of God instructed David to release Prayer 114, and thus here it is, Thus Saith the Lamb of God:

CHAPTER 114

THE CRY UNTO THE LORD FOR MERCY, THE HUMBLING OF THE SOUL, AND THE POWER OF GOD TO SAVE

Cry unto the Lord for mercy.

Cry unto Him with faith.

Cry unto Him with humility.

Cry unto Him with the whole desire of the heart.

The Lord is mighty to save.

His mercy is abundant.

His patience endureth.

His compassion faileth not.

The faithful call upon His holy name.

The repentant seek His forgiveness.

The humble confess their need.

The contrite wait upon His deliverance.

Mercy answereth the cry of repentance.

Mercy openeth the way of reconciliation.

Mercy strengtheneth the soul that returneth.

Mercy encircleth the faithful in the arms of safety.

Let no soul trust wholly in its own strength.

Let no heart boast in its own wisdom.

Let no mind suppose that it hath no need of God.

Let all people remember the source of their deliverance.

For the strong may become weak.

The wise may become confused.

The diligent may become weary.

Yet the mercy of the Lord remaineth sure.

Cry unto Him when the burden is heavy.

Cry unto Him when the path is hidden.

Cry unto Him when temptation presseth upon the soul.

Cry unto Him when the strength of the flesh faileth.

The Lord knoweth the burden.

The Lord knoweth the weakness.

The Lord knoweth the sincere desire to return.

The Lord knoweth the faith hidden within the heart.

The humble seek not to command the answer.

The humble seek the will of God.

The humble ask for strength to obey.

The humble wait for wisdom from above.

Call upon the Lord in the morning.

Remember Him through the labor of the day.

Cry unto Him in the evening.

Let the heart remain directed toward Him continually.

Pray concerning the household.

Pray concerning the work of the hands.

Pray concerning the welfare of the soul.

Pray concerning those who stand in need.

Cry unto the Lord against the powers of darkness.

Cry unto Him against temptation.

Cry unto Him against pride.

Cry unto Him against every influence that leadeth away from righteousness.

Yet prayer is not completed in words alone.

Let the conduct agree with the petition.

Let repentance follow confession.

Let restitution follow the acknowledgment of wrong.

Let works of righteousness follow the receiving of mercy.

For the person who asketh forgiveness must also forgive.

The person who desireth patience must also become patient.

The person who seeketh compassion must also show compassion.

The person who receiveth mercy must become merciful.

The Lord prepareth a way for the repentant.

The Lord strengtheneth those who approach Him sincerely.

The Lord lifteth those who humble themselves.

The Lord preserveth those who remain faithful.

The answer may come through peace.

The answer may come through correction.

The answer may come through renewed strength.

The answer may come through a path not formerly understood.

Nevertheless, the faithful continue.

The faithful do not abandon prayer because the answer tarrieth.

The faithful do not abandon hope because the trial continueth.

The faithful do not abandon God because the way remaineth difficult.

For faith endureth before deliverance is visible.

Hope remaineth before the promise is fulfilled.

Patience continueth before the appointed hour.

Humility trusteth the wisdom of the Lord.

Therefore cry unto Him for mercy.

Therefore call upon His holy name.

Therefore humble the heart before Him.

Therefore continue in prayer.

Let the cry arise from sincerity.

Let the petition be joined with repentance.

Let the prayer be accompanied by faith.

Let the life bear witness of the desire to return.

The Lord hath not forgotten the penitent.

The Lord hath not rejected the humble.

The Lord hath not closed the way of reconciliation.

The Lord remaineth mighty to save.

And those who cry unto the Lord for mercy, calling upon His holy name with faith unto repentance, shall receive strength according to His wisdom, hope according to His promises, and guidance in the way of salvation.
