Records are kept in a Star Lodge, this is the senior place of teaching, gathering, and reflection in the Midewiwin Anangokaa traditions. Like churches and other sacred spaces, it is a setting where people come together to learn, worship, and build community.  There are customary and traditional protocols. We ask for the same courtesy and respect that visitors would extend when entering any other faith tradition's sacred space.

The lodge reflects traditional ways of living and gathering. Open fires are part of many Indigenous practices, just as they were historically part of religious traditions around the world before electricity. The structure includes a natural earth floor, which reflects our values and traditions of remembrance.

What is commonly referred to as a "sweat lodge" encompasses many different purposes and teachings. Participation in this portion of the ceremony is optional.  It is a separate building. Depending on the occasion, it may be used to teach Creation teachings, provide a space for prayer and reflection, or symbolize the mother's womb as a way of teaching renewal, proper living, and one's return to the world with greater understanding and responsibility.

Respect and understanding are mutual obligations. Just as visitors to the headquarters or sacred spaces of another faith would not expect to dictate its practices, we ask that guests extend the same courtesy and openness here.

*Due to Transport, Lodging, Food and Security Costs the fee will be $250 per day or $750 total. (multiple options for payment are accepted)

**Proceeds go the Fruit Tree Replenish Project in Sonora Mexico where 10,000 plus trees are being grown and donated to the Papago Nation.

All registrants are asked to fly or travel into Missoula, Montana on Saturday morning September 19th and will be transported to the site location.

​

**Apostles and Delegates from The Church of Jesus Christ Joint Conference of Restoration Branches are asked to arrive on September 18th and to email Chief Midegah directly who will provide a separate location to meet.

 
Transportation will be provided from the Airport to the Sacred Lodge and sleeping location and back to the Missoula Airport on September 21st and 22nd. All Flights should made for departures in the evening of the 21st at the earliest.

Food and Lodging is provided.
