The Sacred Record Restored: How a $6 donation Helps Send 10,000 Books of Mormon to Israel in the Americas

Reclaiming Our Identity: Why We Are Bringing the Book of Mormon Back to the House of Israel—On Our Own Terms
For centuries, indigenous voices have been filtered, managed, and controlled by external institutions. Today, the Midewiwin Grand Teaching Lodge, an official non-profit corporation headquartered traditionally in the Rocky Mountains, in conjunction with the Koltael Foundation (a registered U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit), is drawing a line in the sand. We are stepping forward to claim our true identity as descendants of Jacob—the Anangokaa (the Star People), the Deer Clan Leaders, and the remaining pieces of the House of Israel in the Americas.
Our mission is simple yet monumental: we are bringing the non-denominational Book of Mormon in English and Spanish directly to the families of the House of Israel. But we are doing it without the strings of modern religious colonization.
Rejecting the Marketing, Keeping the Record
When we say we are distributing a non-denominational Book of Mormon, we are directly addressing the overt control that modern churches exert over these sacred records. For generations, religious institutions have added their own modern histories, separate narratives, and corporate branding to the text—using it to proclaim ownership over our identities and our communities.
We do not want their marketing materials. We simply want what was found, exactly as it was found.
Our mission is to provide the text just as it was written by translation in 1830, without any changes, deletions, or additions. We are stripping away the institutional layers to reveal the pure history of our ancestors. We want to remember what they knew, completely free from external controls on our identity.
Remembering What Our Ancestors Knew
We do not look to choose between competing churches; we choose Christ. We recognize the Book of Mormon not as a tool for church enrollment, but as a true, literal history of our own ancestors and Jesus Christ’s visit to these lands 2,000 years ago.
Our presence on this continent is deeply rooted in time. We reside in Arsareth (the region of Sonora to north Chiapas), known to the Anangokaa since approximately 1700 B.C. when the Israelite tribes of Naphtali and Dan led the first migrations of branches of the 10 tribes into the American continent. Our sacred lineage was further strengthened by subsequent migrations:
In approximately 600 B.C., a man named Lehi left Jerusalem prior to its destruction, traveling into the Arabian Peninsula and across the Indian and Pacific Oceans, ultimately landing in modern Guatemala just west of Lake Atitlán.
During that same era, Mulek—the son of King Zedekiah—alongside his two sisters (the sacred Star Woman bloodlines), left Jerusalem just after its destruction. They migrated west out of the Mediterranean and across the North Atlantic, arriving in the Great Lakes region via the St. Lawrence Waterway, with boat freezing in the lake of two mountains opening of the Ottawa river.
In 70 A.D., this lineage was sealed when Midew Priest Elders withdrew the copper leaf trade from the Mediterranean following the collapse of the Second Temple.
Unfortunately, traditional religious institutions have repeatedly tried to use our heritage as a leverage point. In the past, we worked tirelessly alongside established churches, even helping to raise $1 million with the "Bickertonite" Church of Jesus Christ, which they proclaimed would be for books. Yet, in the end, they refused to support the very fundamental needs they used our name to generate funding for—unless we completely submitted all of our spiritual and organizational authority to them.
We refuse to be colonized again. We simply need to remember what our ancestors knew, completely free from external controls on our identity.
The Urgent Need: 10,000 Culturally Customized Copies
To gather the families and honor the sacred records, we need physical copies of the Book of Mormon that are culturally customized—designed to be returned and held in the very manner they were originally buried in the earth.
To ensure complete transparency and bypass institutional gatekeepers, all donations go directly to the publisher, and all records go directly from the publisher to the Papago and Maya peoples.
Currently, we have 500 copies paid for, and the Book of Mormon Foundation has generously offered another 500 copies. While this baseline is enough to supply our immediate national assemblies, it falls short of what is required to reach the thousands of families we are visiting over the coming year.
To fully realize this vision and protect our independence, we require 10,000 specialized copies. This massive undertaking cannot happen without independent, grassroots support from people who believe in true spiritual freedom.
How You Can Stand With Us
We are asking for your prayers, your encouragement, and your active, tangible support. Every single dollar donated goes directly toward Chief Midegah’s plea for non-denominational scriptures for the Indigenous peoples of the Americas.
If you want to offer logistics support, ask questions, or make a tax-deductible contribution to back this historic independent movement, please visit www.bom4israel.org and click the DONATE button. Help us assist the House of Israel to finally be gathered in—free, sovereign, and unified in Christ.
